Writing support for people, programs, and organizations laboring for justice.

Meet Tricia.

Tricia has taught justice studies courses in higher education and prison institutions for over two decades, ranging in topics from gender and racial justice to critical criminal justice, restorative justice, and prison abolition.

She is a published author, grant writer, and curriculum developer who offers writing support to other educators, scholars, artists, activists, practitioners, and nonprofit leaders as they work for a more just world.

To Tricia, justice does not mean punishment, it means “right relationship.” Justice means honoring our interconnectedness, building community, healing harm with dignity and accountability, dismantling systems of oppression, caring for our planet, and building a more loving world together.

What we do.

Support for Writers

  • We offer one-on-one online sessions to help you accomplish what you already know how to do: write your book, article, grant proposal, newsletter, or any other writing project. We listen and assist in establishing workable deadlines, organizing your thoughts, and encouraging your writing momentum.

  • We hold online co-working sessions for small groups, offering you a space to share your writing goals, write in silence and in the company of other writers, and be accountable to your goals.

  • We offer time away and reflective space to write without everyday distractions and in community with other writers. See below for information about the June 2026 retreat.

Support for Writing

  • We offer “big picture” editorial feedback on the argument, evidence, structure,  and style of your draft writing project (e.g.  manuscript, article, grant proposal, newsletter, copywriting etc.).

  • We offer expertise in the areas of criminal justice, prison abolition, restorative and transformative justice, and systemic oppressions, providing substantive feedback on the content of your draft writing project (e.g. manuscript, article, grant proposal, newsletter, copywriting, etc.)

  • We write and edit grant proposals and reports that reflect the unique work and accomplishments of your organization and meet the specifications of prospective funders.

  • We develop undergraduate and graduate courses in justice-related content as well as public workshops for community building and consciousness raising.

Space to Think. Time to Write.

An intentional writing community for those working toward a more just world.
